Bankalypse
Boston, MA, USA

David Bankole Ayekoloye is the founder of Bankalypse, graduated from University of Lagos, Nigeria, with a bachelor degree in law. He proceeded to the National Youth Service Corp where he worked with the Legal Aid Counsel as an Assistant-Secretary and initiated a campaign tagged “Juvenile Delinquency,” which was aimed at educating Nigerian children and young persons on the need to desist from criminal acts. He was at the forefront in agitating for the rights of prisoners in Bayelsa State, Nigeria, and successfully participated in getting discharges for four inmates whose rights were abused, violated and who were improperly tried. His campaign for justice and crime-free society through education and litigation was a huge success which culminated in awarding him a certificate of merits. He proceeded to the Nigerian Law School where his outstanding abilities paved way for his appointment as the president of law school intern at the High Court of Lagos State, Nigeria. He graduated from the law school in flying colors as a barrister of law and was called to the Nigerian bar as a barrister and solicitor in November 2013.

He started practicing as a lawyer after his admission to the bar in Mansfield and Granville Chambers where he was actively involved in every phase of litigation from the initial client interviews, through the investigation period, application for bail, filing of motions, plea bargain negotiations, educating the less privileged on their civil and constitutional rights, and defending client cases at trial. In order to acquire new and challenging experience in legal practice, he joined the law firm of Segun Sipeolu & Associates where he worked mainly as a litigation lawyer. He acquired legal experience and exposure to public interest law especially in civil right action and criminal defense. As an ambitious lawyer who seeks to broaden his horizon, he bagged a certificate of Cape Western Reserve University, U.S.A, in International Criminal Law. He is currently a graduate student (LL.M.) of Northeastern University on scholarship. His legal carrier caught the interest of Judge Blitzman of Massachusetts Superior Court who demanded for his service to work in the Juvenile Court in Lowell, Massachusetts, U.S.A. David currently has a right of appearance in Massachusetts court even before his graduation from the law school in United States. He will be enrolled in U.S. bar after his graduate program.
